In the production of flue gas desulfurization in thermal power plants, due to the influence of the desulfurization process and flue gas, the wastewater contains a large amount of insoluble substances, such as calcium chloride, fluorine, mercury ions, magnesium ions and other heavy metal elements. Coal and limestone used in thermal power plants can cause serious pollution to wastewater quality. At present, in the process of adopting flue gas desulfurization technology in some thermal power plants in my country, the wastewater generated contains more suspended solids and various heavy metal elements, namely flue gas desulfurization wastewater.
The quality of desulfurization wastewater is different from other industrial wastewaters, and has the characteristics of high turbidity, high salinity, strong corrosiveness and easy scaling. Due to the requirements of environmental protection policies, desulfurization wastewater must achieve zero discharge. However, traditional evaporative zero-emission technologies such as MVR and MED have the disadvantages of high investment and high operating costs, and cannot be widely used. How to achieve “low cost and zero discharge” of desulfurization wastewater has become an urgent problem to be solved.
The desulfurization wastewater treatment equipment can gradually concentrate desulfurization wastewater by membrane separation technologies such as Wastout, R-MF pretreatment, HT-NF separation, and HRLE limit separation. The unique membrane separation technology adopts ultra-wide water inlet channel, high-strength structural design and special membrane elements with strong anti-pollution ability, which ensures the long-term operation of the system. The system design makes it difficult to form a polarized layer on the membrane surface, and has strong anti-pollution ability. The operating cost of the system is low, and the operating cost per ton of water is only 40-60% of the traditional process.
For a long time, the desulfurization wastewater system has been ignored by the operating unit because it is not part of the core desulfurization system. Or choose a simple desulfurization wastewater treatment process during construction, or simply omit the system. In practical work, thermal power plants should clarify the purpose and requirements of flue gas desulfurization wastewater treatment, make rational use of technology, formulate a sound management plan, comprehensively improve the control effect, strengthen management work, and improve the effect of scientific and technological research and application.
